BIO

For more than sixteen years, Sue Goodwill has been caring for the health of her clients and community through her expertise in massage therapy and osteopathy. She draws on her years of clinical experience, volunteer work, and her education in health and psychology to foster healing and well-being. Sue is guided by the belief that the body’s ability to heal, self-regulate and adapt is virtually unlimited; through proper adjustment, nutrition and perception, a person can overcome obstacles and flourish in health and vitality.

Sue received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from The University of Western Ontario in 2000. Two years later, she completed a diploma in massage therapy from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in Toronto. After managing her own clinic for several years, Sue earned her diploma in osteopathic manual theory and a Masters in osteopathic manipulative sciences from The Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and Holistic Health Sciences.

In addition to her current practice as an osteopathic manual practitioner, Sue continues to develop her knowledge base and skills through post-graduate courses and seminars. To better assist her clients with their individual needs, Sue has trained in a number of areas, including: craniosacral therapy, post-isometric relaxation, active isolated stretching, reciprocal inhibition techniques, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, strain/counterstrain techniques, visceral manipulation and facial distortion model. She is also certified in Reiki levels I and II, in the Usui system.

Sue recognizes the body’s need for healthy physical activity and movement; she enjoys sports like badminton and pickle ball as a means of staying active and having fun. Outside of work, Sue is also inspired by her passion for art and literature and loves spending time with her husband, Sean and their two children.

Sue is currently a member in good standing with the Ontario Osteopathic Association and is happy to assist her clients in both English and Spanish.
